All Jewellery
Every piece in our collection is designed, checked and hand finished by our own jewellers in our Sunshine Coast workshop. From engagement rings to everyday earrings, we don't just stock jewellery, we build it, assess it and stand behind it, so what you take home meets the standard we would put our own name to.
Whether you are shopping for a once in a lifetime piece or something to wear every day, our collection is built around the same principle: nothing leaves our workshop unless a jeweller has personally checked it. That is a very different experience to browsing an online marketplace where the person listing the piece has often never touched it.

Our Full Jewellery Collection
Whatever you are shopping for, our range covers every occasion and everyday moment. Explore rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and bespoke pieces, all crafted with the same attention to detail whether it is a forever piece or a treat for yourself.
- Engagement Rings – Lab-grown and natural diamond rings in solitaire, trilogy, halo and Toi et Moi settings.
- Wedding Bands – Classic and contemporary bands to pair with your engagement ring or stand alone.
- Necklaces and Pendants – From delicate everyday chains to statement diamond pendants.
- Earrings – Studs, hoops and drops in gold, white gold and diamond finishes.
- Bracelets – Tennis bracelets, bangles and chain designs for layering or wearing solo.
- Custom Pieces – One-off designs created from your ideas, sketches or inherited stones.
Each category is more than a shelf of stock. Our rings are built to the same standard as our engagement collection, our earrings and bracelets are checked for setting integrity before they go on display, and our necklaces are finished by hand rather than machine stamped and boxed. It is a slower way of doing things, but it is the reason customers come back to us for the next piece, and the one after that.
Why Shop Fine Jewellery at McLean & Co?
Buying jewellery online from an interstate marketplace means never seeing the piece before it arrives, and never speaking to the person who made it. At McLean & Co, every diamond and gemstone is personally assessed before it is set, and every piece is hand finished in our own workshop, not shipped in from an unnamed supplier. You can sit down with a jeweller face to face, ask questions, and see exactly what you are buying before you commit.
This matters more than most people realise until something goes wrong. A ring that arrives from an overseas seller with a loose setting or an ill fitting band is difficult to fix quickly, and even harder to get real advice on. When you buy locally from a workshop that made the piece, that same jeweller is the person you call if you ever need it adjusted, cleaned or repaired.
Crafted to Last, Not Just to Photograph Well
Fine jewellery should hold up to decades of daily wear, not just look good in a product photo. Our jewellers pay close attention to setting integrity, metal quality and stone proportion in every piece we build, whether it is a $200 pair of earrings or a $10,000 custom engagement ring. That is the difference between jewellery that is engineered to last and jewellery that is simply assembled.
We see the results of poorly made jewellery often, worn prongs, thin plating that wears through within a year, chains that snap at the clasp. None of that is a coincidence. It comes down to whether the piece was made with proper attention to construction or produced quickly to hit a price point. Our approach is the opposite: build it properly the first time, so you are not back in six months needing repairs.
Choosing the Right Piece
With so many metals, stones and styles to choose from, it helps to talk it through with someone who works with these materials every day. Our jewellers, with decades of combined experience, can guide you through:
- Metal choice – Yellow gold, white gold, rose gold or platinum, and how each wears over time.
- Stone selection – Lab-grown or natural diamonds, coloured gemstones and how they suit different settings.
- Everyday vs occasion pieces – What holds up to daily wear versus what is built for special occasions.
- Sizing and fit – Getting rings, bracelets and necklaces sized properly the first time.
Metal choice alone can change how a piece looks and lasts. White gold offers a bright, modern finish but needs occasional replating, while platinum holds its colour permanently and suits those who want a low maintenance option. Rose gold has grown in popularity for its warmth, particularly paired with vintage inspired settings. None of these choices are right or wrong, they simply suit different lifestyles and preferences, which is exactly the kind of thing worth talking through in person rather than guessing from a product listing.
Customisation Options
Not finding exactly what you are picturing? Our custom design service lets you work directly with one of our jewellers to create something made entirely to order, sketched, modelled and hand finished in our Sunshine Coast workshop. It is a straightforward way to turn inherited stones, an old setting or simply an idea into a piece that is genuinely yours.
Many of our custom projects start with something sentimental, a grandmother's ring that needs restyling, loose diamonds from an old setting, or a rough sketch on a phone. Our process begins with a consultation to understand what you want and what your budget allows, followed by a design concept and 3D model so you can see the piece before any work begins. Only once you approve the design does it move to hand finishing and final fitting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does McLean & Co make custom jewellery?
Yes. Our custom design process starts with a consultation to talk through your style and budget, followed by a design concept for your approval, then hand finishing in our workshop before a final fitting.
Do you sell both lab-grown and natural diamonds?
Yes, we offer both. Our jewellers can talk you through the differences in cost, appearance and sourcing so you can choose what suits you best.
Can I get my jewellery resized or repaired?
Yes. As a working jewellery workshop, we offer resizing, repairs and maintenance for pieces bought from us and, in most cases, pieces bought elsewhere.
Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome, but booking a consultation means a jeweller is set aside to spend proper time with you, especially for engagement rings or custom pieces.
How long does a custom piece take to make?
Timelines vary depending on complexity, but most custom pieces take a few weeks from approved design to final fitting. Your jeweller will give you a clear timeframe during your consultation.
